In my last post, I shared how my professional journey began—from a middle-class background to landing my first job in banking. But the real test came when I decided to chase my dream of building Digital Solutions—with no money, no resources, and no safety net.
This is the story of 2018, the year I fought against all odds to start my business.
The Dream vs. Reality: No Money, No Laptop, Just Hope
By 2018, I was still working at the bank, earning 18,000 PKR per month—barely enough to cover my expenses, let alone fund a business. But my vision for Digital Solutions kept me awake at night. I knew I had to start, but how?
I didn’t even have a laptop. In the digital world, that’s like a carpenter without a hammer.
No savings. Every rupee went toward basic needs.
No support system. Starting alone meant no mentors, no investors—just me.
Sacrifices That Shaped My Success
If I wanted this dream to become real, I had to make hard choices:
✔ I cut all entertainment. No movies, no outings, no unnecessary spending.
✔ I saved every single rupee. Even small amounts added up over time.
✔ I worked late nights. After my banking job ended at 5 PM, my real work—building Digital Solutions—began.
Finally, after months of scraping together savings, I bought my first laptop—a used one, but it was mine. That laptop became my weapon to change my future.
